Orlando Weekly: Jinya Ramen Bar will open in Thornton Park next week

The much-anticipated Jinya Ramen Bar will officially be open for business in the former Verde Cantina space next week. 

The Thornton Park location will hold its grand opening Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 8 N. Summerlin Ave., and hours of operation will be 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. 

Jinya has 27 locations across North America. The Thornton Park restaurant will be its first Florida location. From their press release, here are some of the offerings:

Popular bowls include:

—JINYA Tonkotsu Black (pork broth, pork chashu, kikurage, green onion, nori dried seaweed, seasoned egg, garlic chips, garlic oil, fried onion, spicy sauce, thin noodles)

—Spicy Chicken Ramen (chicken broth, chicken chashu, spinach, spicy bean sprouts, green onion,thin noodles)

—Vegetarian/vegan options including Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen (vegetable broth, tofu, onion, green onion, spinach, crispy onion, garlic chips, garlic oil, chili oil, sesame seeds, thick noodles). 

Guests can customize their ramen with 20+ add-on toppings such as chicken wontons, cheese & tomato, brussels sprouts and beef sukiyaki, or upgrade to spinach noodles for an additional charge. 

Rounding out the menu are shareable small plates such as Pork Gyoza (handmade pork potstickers); Crispy Chicken (juicy fried chicken thigh with an original garlic pepper served with mixed baby greens and JINYA’s original ponzu sauce); and Mini Tacos (salmon poke, spicy tuna or pork chashu & kimchee served in a crispy wonton shell).
