Montgomery Community Media (MCM): Jinya Ramen Bar To Open In North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose On Aug. 7

The popular ramen restaurant, JINYA Ramen Bar will open at Pike & Rose Tuesday, Aug. 7. This will be the restaurant’s first location in Maryland and their third location in the D.C. area.

JINYA Ramen Bar specializes in authentic Tonkotsu ramen boasting bold flavors and a wide variety of options, including five broths, different tares, various noodle types and over 25 toppings.

The food preparation process includes simmering the broth for over 10 hours, delivering a robust, flavorful experience in perfect balance with handmade noodles aged for three days.

In addition to Tonkotsu, ramen offerings such as the Spicy Chicken Ramen, Slurp Up Cilantro Ramen, Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen, and the “Cha Cha Cha” for garlic lovers are available.

Other favorites include Salmon Poke mini tacos, JINYA Bun, Brussels Sprouts Tempura with truffle oil, Takoyaki, JINYA Quinoa Salad, and various rice bowls and curry.

JINYA will kick off its Grand Opening starting at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, August 7 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, door prizes and other activities throughout the day.  In addition, the first 100 guests will be treated to a free bowl of ramen.  A portion of the proceeds from the opening day will be donated to Manna Food Center, an organization dedicated to ending hunger in Montgomery County, Maryland.

The restaurant is located at 910 Prose Street, just two blocks from the White Flint Metro stop in North Bethesda.

JINYA has seating for 74 guests and an outdoor patio featuring a communal table with a fire pit that seats 18 guests.

The restaurant will be open Sunday – Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Food and Drink Happy Hour specials will be served daily from 4 to 7 p.m.  Hours may be adjusted in the near future based on the neighborhood’s needs.
